Lyrical Interpretation-Taiki Kou
Prolouge
The stars, the galaxy, the universe... It's no use, I can't write one line
Since coming to Earth, I have looked at lots of different poems.
But there are many poems which entrust their hope to the stars...
I can not do that.Because I remember my home that is no more.
Taiki is obviouly talking about his home planet, Kinmoku here.
He cannot write about the hope he had in the stars because he (or she)
remembers his home had been destroyed, his princess disappering after
landing on Earth. His hopes and dreams seemed to have gone with the destruction.
My loving of poetry is because in that I can finally let out my pain
and experience feelings of gentleness and honesty. My writing of poetry
is because in that I want to finally let out my pain and write down feelings
of gentleness and honesty.
And because I want to feel me now in this instant...
I want to feel Taiki Kou.
Again this is a testimony to his poetry, both reading it and writing it.
He feels that both allows for thoughts of heart and mind to poems with easy
expression and honest feeling. Perhaps in this male form, as an idol,
he is less inclined or unable to express himself as he did on Kinmoku?
